“I had the pleasure of serving as a board member on The Texas Healthcare Advisory Council alongside Lisa for 2 years. Throughout that time she showed her passion for students, families and the important role and need for Social Workers. She used her skills and connections in the community to advocate and create meaningful outcomes. Lisa is passionate, driven and a true friend to all.”
- Thara Varanasi
Button“Lisa is a phenomenal presenter and has been a valuable asset and consultant as we integrate social and emotional learning into our curriculum and staff training. Our main focus was finding someone that could provide a strong combination of theory and practical application—and Lisa does exactly that. We are extremely happy to work with her.”
- Larry D. West III, MBA, EA
Button“Lisa’s level of care, compassion, and competence is what makes her stand out as an amazing provider, colleague, parent, and friend. Her ability to connect to adolescents, parents, and professionals has helped define her career as a social worker. Her smile radiates through even the most challenging circumstances and reassures everyone that they are being cared for by one of the best in the profession. The world is better because she is.”
- Patrice Dunn, Doctoral Candidate, LPC-S
Button“Lisa leads with her whole heart. She intersects social justice, therapy, creative movement, and health in her work. She is a bridge builder to cultivate a community of helpers to serve and link collective healing. Lisa also knows the importance of making sure those she works with feel seen, heard, supported and sprinkles in humor and affirmation. When I am around Lisa, I feel hope, joy, love, and connection. Lisa is curious, fun-loving, and understands that pain is to be tenderly respected. I have seen Lisa lift up, encourage, and empower so many people. When someone she works with has a success, she celebrates them. She understands there is a enough room at the table. She understands that diversity, inclusion, and equity matters. Lisa knows how to connect and sustain long-lasting relationships. Lisa is the real thing and it is an honor to know her and walk alongside her in anything she does.”
- Vanessa
